When it comes to setting fashion trends, it seems to be on quite a roll at the moment. First, we had the Mise En craze and now we have everybody lusting after their uber-cool “So Real” sunglasses. Karen Walker and Céline, move over! If we could crown one pair of shades the official sunglasses of 2015, it would definitely be “So Real” frames. And even though these sunglasses are everything but affordable at $595, virtually every fashion influencer – from bloggers to fashion editors to supermodels to celebs (and let’s not forget about all the countless Instagram sightings) – has been spotted wearing these sunnies. They come in a wide range of great styles, but if I had to pick a “So Real” favorite it would probably be the crystal (clear)/silver version with the blue mirrored lenses (last one pictured below). But no matter how much hype is still to follow on these lovely shades, there’s no way I would lay down almost $600 on a pair of trendy sunglasses that’ll probably be so passé 6 months from now.

Celebrities & Style Bloggers Love Sunglasses

Celebs such as Rihanna and Olivia Palermo as well as personal style bloggers like Chiara Ferragni (The Blonde Salad) and Kristina Bazan (Kayture) have all been spotted wearing So Real Sunglasses.

Gant Brow Bar Sunglasses

Luckily, there are quite a few great So Real dupe options available like this one by Gant, so you don’t have to break the bank to try the trend. Like the real deal, these sunnies also come in a broad range of styles (I counted 17!), so there’s a huge selection to choose from. And at $13.90 per pair, why not pick two?

Jessica Buurman “Lotia” Brow Bar Basic Sunglasses

DEAL: Free worldwide shipping on all orders! Sign up to the Jessica Buurman newsletter and get a 10% off coupon!

And of course, where there’s a trend, Jessica Buurman isn’t too far behind. Their “Lotia” sunglasses which come in 11 different styles are a great alternative to the pricey So Real sunnies which cost between $35 or $39. Not the cheapest pair of sunglasses I’ve ever seen, but still way more affordable than the real deal.

Choies High Bar Retro Sunglasses

I also discovered these lovely So Real dupes at Choies which I just had to include in this post because I’m absolutely obsessed with the rosegold version. They’re currently on sale for a little under $20, so I suggest to stock up on them while they’re still available.

Express Mirrored Retro Brow Bar Sunglasses

If you’re a fan of the tortoise So Reals, then check out this fab steal version by Express which looks just like the real, but costs only $29.90 instead of $595.
